Canadian Indigenous Investment Summit

The Canadian Indigenous Investment Forum, a trading name of Company Number 10415269, with its registered office at 107 Cheapside, London, England, EC2V 6DN ("we", "us", or "our"), organises the annual Canadian Indigenous Investment Summit (the "Summit"). These terms apply when you book a ticket to attend the Summit. By completing your booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Bookings

Your booking is confirmed once we have received your completed booking form, your payment in full, and have sent you a written confirmation by email. At that point, a legally binding contract exists between you and the Forum. Each ticket is issued to a single named individual. Tickets are non-transferable except at the Forum's sole discretion.

We reserve the right to refuse any booking. If we do so, any Fees paid will be refunded in full.

Fees and payment

Fees are payable in full at the time of booking. Fees exclude travel, accommodation, and any other costs associated with attending the Summit. VAT applies to all bookings at the prevailing UK rate.

If payment is not received by the date of the Summit, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without further notice.

Cancellation and refund

Cancellation charges apply as follows:

• Within 7 calendar days of booking, and the Summit is more than 60 calendar days away: no charge, full refund

• After 7 calendar days from booking, and the Summit is more than 60 calendar days away: 50% cancellation charge, 50% refund

• Within 60 calendar days of the Summit: no refund

Your 14-day statutory right to cancel under UK consumer law applies in addition to the above and, where it applies, overrides these charges to give a full refund. Refunds are processed within 14 working days of your cancellation, using the same payment method.

If you purchased your Summit ticket as part of a bundle with The Circle, any refund is calculated against £525, the ticket portion of the bundle, regardless of the total bundle price paid. Circle access already granted is not refundable.

To cancel, email info@canadianindigenousinvestmentforum.org with your name and the email address used at purchase.

Programme changes

We reserve the right to change the Summit's speakers, sessions, format, or timing where reasonably necessary. All booked attendees will be notified of such changes in advance.

The Summit will take place in the City of London on 27-28 April 2027. The venue is to be confirmed. We reserve the right to adjust the dates by one or two days subject to venue availability. If the revised dates do not work for you, we will refund the ticket portion of your purchase in full.

Attendance conduct

We reserve the right to refuse admission to, or eject from, the Summit any attendee whose conduct we consider to be a security risk, a breach of these terms, or a nuisance to the running of the event. No refund will be issued in such cases.

You are responsible for arranging your own insurance in connection with your attendance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss or damage to you or your property except where caused by our negligence.

Filming, photography, and recordings

By attending the Summit, you consent to being filmed, photographed, and recorded. We may use these recordings and images, and may permit third parties authorised by us to do so, for any purpose connected with the Summit or the Forum's activities, in any media, worldwide and without time limit. This includes marketing, editorial, research, and reporting use.

You must not record, film, or livestream any Summit session, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. Materials provided at the Summit are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced or distributed without our permission.

Attendee list and badge scanning

Your name, job title, and organisation will be included on a delegate list shared with speakers, sponsors, and other attendees at the Summit. To opt out, email info@canadianindigenousinvestmentforum.org before the Summit.

Your Summit badge may include a barcode that can be scanned. You may choose whether or not to permit scanning. If you allow a sponsor or another attendee to scan your badge, you are responsible for understanding how that third party will use the information you share.

Sanctions

We reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain any Fees paid if you, or any organisation you represent, become subject to sanctions imposed by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the United States.

If we cancel or postpone the Summit

If we cancel the Summit, or postpone it and you are unable to attend the rearranged date, we will either transfer your Fees to a future Summit or refund them in full, at your election. Our liability to you in these circumstances is limited to the Fees you have paid, and we are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs you have incurred.

Liability

Our total liability to you in connection with the Summit is limited to the Fees you have paid. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, business interruption, loss of profits, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
